Beating in time perfectly for this precise moment...beating with me, for me and has never let me down since the day it began pulsing life into my veins. Can you feel it...your own heart? Can you hear it...your soul singing..."I am alive!" Breathe IN....pause....Breathe Out....pause.....between the breaths there is your heart, with your breath, there is your heart. Exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale....the trees feeding you oxygen. Exhale, you saying thank you to the trees, every time you are exhaling the breath they gave you. Gratitude in receiving with gratitude as we give. The balance, the relationship....the unconditional love of life itself. Anahata energy contributes to expansion and outward moving forces in the universe. At the physiological level the force of Anahata makes us breathe and keeps our heart beating. Its expansive nature creates healing of the body through detoxification and elimination of undesirable substances or residues that have accumulated in us, gently pushing everything out of the body. As you breathe in...you are expanding the atoms and molecules of the divine matrix that IS you. Let it in...let YOU in!! As you breathe out...you are releasing, detoxing, letting go and giving away, making space for MORE of the truth that is finding it's way to the forefront of your life choices. BALANCE _ MASCULINE / YANG _ FEMANINE / YIN _ YOU ARE COMPLETE and WHOLE from the day your heart began to beat for you! Will you love ALL of you? Weekly Practice: 1. Identify your masculine qualities and then Femanine qualities. Make notes on the response you get when you ask your body "who is my masculine self?" "who is my feminine self?" Identify the difference, and then acknowledge the relationship between the two...the doing and the receiving. 2. Take 5 min. in your day and listen to your heart beating...your breath inhaling and exhaling. Focus on the sensations and feelings of your heart space. 3. List 5 things in the morning at before bed that you are grateful for...then feel your heart expand into the moment you are in even more as you do! Take these practices to move you with more harmony and understanding as to the lighthouse that guides you home, back to your body, heart and divine right to experience this life in absolute JOY! We are going to journey down the chakras, focusing on one chakra per week.
This week we are moving into the 6th chakra. Ajna “Command Centre” is called the command centre as we are working to becoming aware of our thoughts in order to empower our perception in creating what we want, as opposed to perceiving what we don’t want...and therefore causing distortion in what is real and what is imagined. Which in turn, will create disharmony in your physical body. The Pituitary Gland (Master Gland) Controls 95% of all hormone and endocrine functions in the body. So this week, let’s pay attention to the stories you are telling yourself about the world you “see” around you. Is what you “see” in accordance to what is true? Take this week to imagine the best version of yourself. How would it feel, what’s the environment around you, what are the smells, what do you hear? Write down what you observed and felt in your mind’s eye of imagination. Design your life with your toes to the front. Breathe in deeply....Exhale fully....repeat 3 times. Now breathe in again deeply just like the first deep breath I asked you to take. Exactly the same length of inhale and exhale, don’t change ANYTHING! Breathe in and out the exact same way you took your first breath..... Ok, you can stop now. Keep breathing, but let go of trying to make your breathing the same as it was 2 minutes ago. You can keep trying, but realize you are different now, your awareness of your surroundings, the sensation of your body, what you see when you open your eyes, the thoughts moving through your mind. As much as you may think you are the same, you are not. This is why perfection can only be accomplished by being in the moment, and knowing that being perfect is not about making something look a certain way. Perfection exists right now. In this very moment, your cells are perfectly dying and being born new, your hair is perfectly falling out and growing back in. Your heart is perfectly beating to the pulse that is necessary for what your body need right in this very moment. Depending on what happens next and how you relate to what happens, you will be different. We can try and deny this truth, but I assure you…there will be resistance. How often have you heard yourself saying, “if I could only be as young, beautiful, active, organized, happy…..as I was back then”. Or, “I wish I would have turned left instead of right, then maybe I wouldn’t have got in that accident.” The mind is constantly looking for something to identify with in order to feel safe and in the “known”. Therefore, as much as you attempt to look ahead and predict your future while remaining in the moment, the only future that you can predict is the very moment you are in. So what would happen if, in this very moment you had the power to create your future. Which thought would you choose, If it were the thought that was going to repeat itself for the rest of your life:
The choice is yours…always! The trick is, if you don’t realize you are creating your life experiences based on what you are thinking, then you can’t change your life into what you would desire it to be. Looking back on your life has value to assess the choices you have made that have got you to where you are now. Moving forward, realize where you are now and keep choosing the thoughts that will create a future aligning with the person you desire to be. Moving Forward into 2018, ask yourself these questions:
Before moving forward, shoulder check to make sure your old thoughts aren’t sneaking up behind you, when it’s clear, put your foot on the gas, and drive ahead. We are all connected in this massive stream of energy that flows through each and every one of us on Earth. Knowing that we all here existing together, we can’t deny the fact that everything in our environment affects us in some way, which in turn affects the world as a whole. All of the people we don’t know about are just as capable and magnetically affecting the world and each of us in it. So much so that the loss of one person affects us all. This leads to a new (if not old) awareness that “If you are not everything you can be, you are costing others to be all that they can be”. Think about the "100th Monkey” Phenomena. The one monkey on one island was taught to clean his sweet potato with water before eating it. When this monkey was introduced into the other monkeys, they all began cleaning their sweet potato. This was an obvious act that we can easily relate to when in the same close environment, we automatically take on some personality traits or ways of living from others around us. However, the biggest impact that these monkeys had, were not on the one group on the one island copying each other. It was when monkeys on a completely different island began cleaning their sweet potatoes that we began to realize, there is something greater that we cannot physically see, involved with the collective consciousness of the world we live in. So ask yourself the question John F. Kennedy asked; “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" Life expects service from you. This is sometimes known as social responsibility. When you are motivated not only by doing things that help YOU feel better about life and living in this world, but add to the motivation that, when you be the best you, you are giving others permission to do the same. This is a proven phenomena that is displayed by the environment you find yourself. Putting yourself in an environment that projects negativity or ways of being that does not support your best self, not only affects you personally, but also everyone in the environment, and therefore extends out into the entire world through osmosis and the collective connection. “If you are not everything you can be, you are costing others to be all that they can be." So what can you do about this to make sure you are creating the environment you want to be in and thrive in? #1. Look to surround yourself in a constructive environment, not a destructive environment. #2. Spend time getting in touch with WHO YOU REALLY ARE! Spend time ALONE. No TV, visitors, spend time thinking without succumbing to the need of getting another persons opinion about what you think. #3. Surround yourself with people that expect something from you. When you surround yourself with people that challenge you to be the best you can be, it will not feel comfortable. However, you shall never strive for comfort anyway. Comfort creates fear of movement. Feel good being all that you can be and get familiar with who you are, but as soon as you stay stuck in this familiarity, you become rigid. Continually learn something new everyday to continue building upon who you are will encourage movement, flow and continuous opportunities. #4. Make it your mission in life to make people glad they talked to you. Ask yourself what difference would it make to your environment if you did this? Be active and smile! When someone asks you how you are doing today....answer with a great big “SENSATIONAL!!” Even if you don’t believe that you are sensational yet, just say it anyway with enthusiasm for 30 days and see what happens! :) Embrace the flow of the collective connectedness and begin creating the world you want to live in by being the person you want to be with. Better relationships? More compassion? A longer vacation? Better job? Freedom? A healthier body? All of the above? What if I told you the only way you will actually realize and live a life you desire or long for, is if you accept and appreciate the one you have now? Acceptance is not the same as complacency. When we are complacent, we are ignoring the truth that life for you is not fulfilling and convincing yourself that it is. Acceptance is understanding that life isn’t full of all the qualities and things or people you would like all the time (and much of life may actually be challenging), but recognizing the notion that loving what you do have regardless of how bad it may seem, will create more of what you love. Your own body is a great place to start. You can’t escape your body while you are here on Earth, and while you're here, your body is not afraid to tell you when you are are happy or sad, weak or strong, stressed or at peace. Become grateful for your physical body, the vessel that allows you to experience life itself. By ignoring the simple fact that life is neither awesome nor horrible without your body to experience it...creates a disassociation to your innate ability in creating a fulfilling life. In other words, if you can’t acknowledge and accept what is, it’s difficult to think what you want is possible. Where you are now is the result of what you have believed for yourself. Until you improve your relationship and attitude with yourself and body, you will continue to co-create a life that satisfies the comforts of remaining where and who you are. Ask yourself:
Learn to love what is, knowing the relationship you have with your body is a mirror to the relationship you have with life itself and the people in it. Is there something in your life that you have been thinking about doing but that’s where it stops... in the thinking about it?
Buying a new car? Going on vacation? Starting a business? Getting up to see the sunrise? You think about it, your whole body starts to tingle with joy, and everything in life feels good. Then, when you think about the steps you need to take in order for that thing you have been dreaming about to happen, suddenly obstacles show up in front of your feet. You see the first obstacle as either “not enough time” or “not enough money”. So you go on dreaming, but never take action on finding a solution to the obstacle that is between you and making your dream a reality. Let’s first define what the word ‘obstacle’ means before you give up completely on all of your dreams. Obstacle (noun); a thing that blocks one's way or prevents or hinders progress. So if an obstacle is a ‘thing’ that blocks you from progressing forward...and your ‘thoughts become things’ in the theory of manifestation. This means that YOU are creating the thing that stops you from moving forward. Most obstacles are an illusion of the mind. Recall the idea that, what you think about, you bring about. You are the creator of your reality. Every situation, person, sunset and item of clothing that you experience, has been created out of what thoughts you chose to entertain. For instance, if you have a love for ice cream and you want to indulge in having the experience of eating ice cream, you will find a way and make the choices necessary to have the ice cream. How desperately you want it, will determine the extent you will go to get it. The same thing goes for any other dream or desire you have been wanting in your life. How desperately do you want it? Are you desperate or determined enough to look beyond any fear, doubt and insecurity that you may have as you take the first step toward that desire? There is no doubt that fear will arrive when you are about to embark on the path towards realizing your dream life. You have practiced living a safe and repetitive lifestyle for some time now. To disturb how you have done things up until now, will cause you to shake on the inside. Your foundations are being tested, your sense of self is being questioned. This is why you must be crystal clear about where you are going in order to know the first step towards it. Controlling how everything is going to happen is an obstacle in itself. It will keep you from even taking that first step if you need to know every single detail that is going to happen between point A and point B. What you can control is your attitude going into any new project or life change. Your attitude can either be: a. “what if I die or something bad happens?” OR b. “what if I have the best time of my life" Those are both choices in how you think as you move towards something that scares you. You will be afraid, as the body will respond to not knowing something that it can’t see ahead. Instinctually, that could be your first response if your sense of self hasn’t been fully developed and trusted. The process of trusting yourself takes practice and it takes calculated risks and scary choices as part of that practice. Begin to listen to yourself when you talk to people about what you “wish” your life was like. Where you would LOVE to be rather than where you are. Listen to your words as they are coming from your thinking, feeling and belief of this present moment. In order for something to change, it must cease being what it once was. Here are a couple steps to ask yourself as you start taking your wants and dreams more seriously:
You are the only obstacle getting in the way of realizing your best life. The question will always be...”do I believe in myself enough to realize my potential?” Realizing your worth takes the act of becoming worthy. Not to any one else, but yourself to start. You are born with the rights to be here, to feel, to act, to love and be loved, to speak, to know and to understand. What you need to develop is courage to take action on the things that have meaning and value in your life. Move toward your fear...it will show you your bravery in becoming something greater than what you are now. You won’t know your potential until you do something that scares you... and be willing to fail...more than once. Remember, self trust and confidence takes practice. Practice makes progress, not perfect. Take with you the awareness now that what you think about, you bring about. Become aware of your thoughts when you are dreaming up a life of luxury and bliss. It may be for the simple pleasure of that moment in time to think up a fantasy life. However, if you are finding yourself depressed at the fact that you aren’t living that life of luxury and bliss, then it’s time to slap yourself in the face, remember that you are a powerful creator, face whatever fear you have in changing your life for the better and start asking yourself the important questions to help that dream become a reality. Do what it takes to become worthy of your dreams. You are the obstacle. How many obstacles will you place in front of the person you could become? |
